The Founding of Spiritual Minds

Spiritual Minds was founded in July 2000 by technology entrepreneur Greg Moss. Greg is an author, enterprise architect, musician and experienced meditator for over 20 years.

Greg helps people achieve greater success through mindful meditation combined with technology and advanced learning strategies. With over 10,000 students in 150 countries, Greg has produced over 200 courses in technology and business management solutions.

Greg was always fascinated with life hacks, personal growth strategies, and utilizing science and technology to transform his life and the lives of others. In late 1998, Greg's interests in pursing technology and science led him to learn about binaural beats, the frequency following effect, and light-sound machine technology. This led to a spiritual transformation and a kundalini awakening in January 2000.


Greg then founded Spiritual Minds in July 2021 to get purpose and conviction to exploring the science of meditation. This included an affiliate partnership with Bill Harris, the founder of CenterPointe Research. Through the years SpiritualMinds.com continues to evolve and innovate.

The Science Behind Meditation

I first discovered the power of meditation during an experimentation phase with light-sound machines. As I researched more, the science behind meditation began to fascinate me.

According to research, mindful meditation has been shown to bring various positive benefits. It’s been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, improves immune function, and reduces inflammation.

Scientists also found that it increased the gray-matter density in the part of your brain associated with compassion and learning. Your ability to focus and multitask would improve drastically simply by sitting down and looking within.

8 weeks of meditation was enough to make the patients more focused and more loving. Within us is the power to become ten times better than what we are now and yet everyone is asleep.

While meditation alone has proven scientific benefits, the term 'meditation' is broad. To achieve good results you need to follow a system. For centuries people have magnified their spiritual growth through mantras, affirmations, strict schedules, and dietary discipline. 

I recognized early in 2001 that combining technology, science and meditation was the best way to maximize growth and achieve superior results.
